Meet future rock and roll star: Haverly! These photos are a surprise for Haverly's rock-n-rolling dad! I love being a part of a super fun surprise and I don't even need  an excuse to put an adorable baby in a guitar case!  So, when my friend Amanda told me about this - I was in. We originally thought we would have to do this inside because of the weather, but the day arrived and the weather was gorgeous and the barn was the perfect background. Molly & Jack - Nashville, TN Family & Child Photographer

These two were a dream! Jack is the happiest and smiliest 6 month old I have ever met. He didn't mind being plopped into baskets or wearing hats and Molly is girly and sweet and she loves a tutu. And you know how I feel about a girl in a tutu. Molly's mom had told me that Molly might be shy, but when she saw my trunk of girly stuff - we were instantly friends! Baby Hayes - Just 7 days

I just don't have enough words to say how much I love these photos. As you can see, baby Hayes is pure perfection. He was oh so sleepy, not fussy at all, and has the most smushiest sweetest face - all my favorite qualities in an infant! I left their house knowing these images were amazing. Beyond. I was so right. Katherine and Robert - Congrats on the newest addition to your family, you have truly been blessed. I feel badly that we did not get the big sister/baby brother shot - but I promise we will next time. I will have  to come up with something McClean could not resist - like her own set of keys! The Isaacs Family

I love when I walk into a client's home and see my photo's framed in their house. So nice, and so is this family. We met up again for a family session and these little angel faced boys knocked it out of the park again. As soon as Katie sat Henry in the leaves, I knew it was going to be good. And it was. As soon as the camera was on him, lil Henry turned it on. And even Clay, who is not interested in the camera at all was absolutely charming. I am powerless over these boys sweet faces. And Katie and Scott - I really do mean that and I don't tell everyone that their kids are cute. I honestly can't explain why only beautiful families with gorgeous children hire me! My favorite shoot to date. I think these images are so beautiful, girly, sweet and lovely. I will never get tired of looking at them. Ashley and I are a dangerous combination, in that we had enough ideas to last a few more hours while Marc and Marigny froze to death. We had no idea how cold it had gotten until we started packing up and noticed everyone was shivering! Ashley had great ideas and her styling was perfection. Marigny was a sweetheart and so natural and comfortable in front of the camera. She must have a mommy that takes lots of photos! And Marc hung in there until the end, and I think he actually cheered when we called it a wrap. Ha Ha, he really was great and super photogenic. But have you ever seen a family that the camera loved more? Not me. So please enjoy the loveliness. Little Madelyn! What a difference the sun and some food can make! The first half of this shoot was cold, rainy and Madelyn was hungry. But a couple days later this doll in pigtails showed up and smiled and laughed like she was having the best time ever. And her little pigtails may be the cutest thing I have ever seen!

These shots have been so hard not to post earlier, but I try to post in the order I took them! Ben and I went to grade school and high school together, and meeting his wife, Valerie and his son, Will, is one of the coolest parts of why I love what I do...and of course amazing shots like these. We had to bribe Will with blue lollipops and trucks, but it was def worth it. I love the ones where he is just being a little boy and not even worrying about the lady with the big camera trailing around behind him. And the sweet moments I caught of him laying his head on Ben's chest, those are the ones I think they will remember the most. Valerie - I am so glad you found me. Alden is 4 Months Old!

This sweet little pumpkin is 4 months old and was a dream to photograph. He smiled and laughed and was just an angel. This was a very early morning shoot and I def think that makes a difference. The baby was happy, his beautiful sister Hannah was so helpful and a complete doll, the light was absolutely gorgeous, and their house smelled like yummy breakfast!  See you again at 6 months!

Logan - 13 days old

Check out sweet little Logan! Only 13 days old and so, so sweet! This shoot is one of my favorites. I love when the parents give me the go ahead to do whatever I want, this is what happens, and of course you have to have a super cute baby like Logan! Some people may have thought it was odd to put your newborn baby in a platter on the dining room table - but I think the result is awesome and I would hang that photo right in there. When Katherine and I were discussing locations and props for the photo shoot, she casually mentioned that McLean was a girl on the go. And was she ever! This little pumpkin never stops moving, make that running. This session took place in 2 parts because it was hard to chase her for an hour! Just kidding, but we did meet a second time with the hopes that I could coax her into a tutu or a bucket - but she was not having it. That would slow her down too much! This shoot was so fun and McLean is absolutely adorable. I am in LOVE with their family photos. I am also jealous of how great Katherine looks pregnant. Today was a big day for Cayden! He turned 6 months old, had a photo shoot, and right after that he had to go to the doctor for his 6 month shots! He did great, and I was really glad he did not know what was coming after me! Happy 1/2 birthday! Can't wait to see you again in 3 months!

Cooper - 1 Year

Happy Birthday Cooper! This little guy just turned 1 , so we met up to capture his sweetness and also get some shots with his brother and sister! Nolan - 1 year

Happy 1st Birthday to sweet lil Nolan. This little guy is all boy and did not shed a tear during the shoot even when he fell down in the rocks! He was not sure about smiling for me at first, but mom and dad worked hard singing all his favorite songs and I think we captured the sweetest side of Nolan. Happy Bday Nolan. Clay (2 years) and Henry (6 months)

These precious boys completely stole my heart. Both were so sweet to me the whole time I poked a big black camera in their faces for an hour! As a mommy of two boys, I know how difficult it is to get a "brothers" shot, especially at this age! But I think we pulled it off! Gia - 9 days old

Get ready for the complete girly cuteness of 9 day old Gia. Her mom loves tutu's, big flower headbands and pink - so we hit it off right away! Her dad was the best photography assistant I have ever had - seriously, he just gets it! I am in love with these photos. Baby William - One Week

Meet baby William. He's only 7 days old and 6 pounds! Definitely my tiniest client! This shoot went so well and not just because William is a well behaved baby who slept for most of the shoot, but his parents are the greatest and their house was so well decorated - I had a lot to work with! I am in love with their family photo on the bed; they look like Babrbie, Ken and baby. Just perfection. I met up with Amy and George yesterday for a sunset engagement shoot at Centennial park with a grand finale at Love Circle for a family shot with their dog, Bosley. Lauren and Drew

Oh these precious ones made my day. These pictures are a fathers day present for their daddy who is currently serving our country and won't be home until August. Lauren is my dream come true - loves having her picture taken and she is a complete  princess. I loved how I showed her how to point her toe and then she one upped me and did a curtsy! Drew is all boy, and could hardly sit still, but that's ok - I am used to the chase. I really think these images of his princess and his little army boy are going to make his Father's Day! Get ready for some amazing photos - these are some gorgeous children!  Suzy is a mother of three, and since she has two boys I felt instantly connected to her, and I couldn't wait to... get my hands on her beautiful 4.5 month old daughter, Gracie. Suzy picked this location in Thompsons Station, and it was PERFECT. It must be noted that the house and land in the background belongs to the Cyrus'. As in Miley. That made me really excited, I know I am a dork. I loved that Suzy was so laid back and even let me put her baby in a bucket in the middle of a train track! I am so excited to post these. The Ruff Family

Pauly and I go waaaay back! One of the best things about my job is catching up with people and seeing where life has taken them. Paul has a beautiful and talented wife Tracey, and a funny and sweet son, Hunter. Paul is one of the best people I know, so it's great o see him so happy. This shoot did not start exactly the way we planned - but I am really happy with the way it turned out. I have not seen Hugh and Meghan in years and it was awesome meeting their two gorgeous girls, Reagan and McCarthy. Reagan is probably the most photogenic child I have ever met. Today was a fantastic day. Jack turned T.W.O. and I was invited to capture it all. The Dixon's completely rocked this shoot. When Jennifer booked this shoot and said I have a farm...I was totally in! The location was incredible, the kids were precious, and Jennifer and Chad were awesome. Hunter and I have known each other since grade school (GO CKS!) so it was really fun to catch up with him and his beautiful (and pregnant) wife, Rachel. This was a fun, laid back shoot and the weather was perfect. ROCK THE DRESS - FREE SESSION EXTENDED THRU APRIL

Are you getting married this year, and wondering what to do with your dress afterwards? Perhaps you’ve already found the dress of your dreams and can’t wait to wear it on your big day? The Holdaway's Easter Mini Session

Probably my all time favorite family photos. What is awesome about the Holdaways, is not only are they the nicest people ever, but they are up for anything. I was like, "Hey ya'll stand up on this big dead tree" (totally reminded me of that scene in Dirty Dancing) but anyway, they were all for it! Their daughter, Jordan, is so lovely. Obviously she never went thru any awkward teen years like I did when I had braces. And Evan is a complete cutie and such a sweet, kind brother. Jack completely rocked it. Honestly, I can't find a bad photo of him. And mid shoot, Dad asked him what he knew about Lane Kiffin and Jack responded, "He's a traitor!" See why I love this family?! And little bro Easton was a natural too. The Lively's have this awesome bench that we used for some cocoon shots - I LOVE THEM! and their backyard is amazing. This is just a very small sneak peak. Last month, I had the opportunity to meet up with an amazing group of photographers for a day of shooting just for FUN! We had an incredible venue courtesy of 3^rd aVenue South (www.3rdavenuesouth.com) and John Cowan was the guest of honor. John Cowan (www.johncowan.com ) is an amazing artist and he is such a nice, nice man! He was part of the Doobie Brothers in the nineties, rose to fame as part of the New Grass Revival, and is currently touring with his band: The John Cowan Band.  I hope you enjoy the photos!

Amelia - 7 months

Dylan - Lil Heartbreaker

Dylan's mommy and I are long lost friends, so this shoot was especially fun for me.  I had a blast shooting Dylan and his sweet mommy and daddy! I hope they don't think I am crazy for laying in their street and setting up my stuff in their bathroom!  I  promise that this child does not take a bad picture and so it was really hard to narrow their Sneek Peak down! This is my son Griffin. When I saw these photos, I went WOW, my kid is gorgeous. And that is what I want to give to you. When you see the photos I take of you, your child, your spouse, your pet, or your mom or dad; I want you to think they are amazing and beautiful.

The Gordon's

David and Abby Gordon and their labs Maddie and Doc.  Very fun shoot at the Gordon house.  I wouldn't go so far as to say the dogs LOVED it, but they were really cooperative!  I know there are a lot of the sepia vintage looking shots, but I couldn't help myself. The house, the dogs, THE SWING, Abby's boots and ruffle jacket, - everything was screaming to be sepia.   Thanks to The Gordon Family!

Little Miracles

Meet Abigail and Juliette! The sweetest little babies ever.  These 10 day old twins were so sweet and calm during their session. These precious little girls are quite the fighters and have already endured so much in the 10 days since their birth.  They are thriving and showing the world their strength. Thanks to Brad and Mandy for letting me photograph your amazing daughters; they are truly your little miracles.

Ok. I have a confession. I am obsessed with these cocoons. I just had to stuff  (gently stuff!) Cooper in one and he LOVED it!  I took these 20 pictures in the span of about 10 minutes and it was amazing to look thru them and see how many different expressions I caught. PRESHOUS BABY!  And he can be so dramatic!

Bella the Princess Pug

Poor little Bella. She really did hate this and was pretty miserable the entire time. She saw that tiara coming at her and she looked at me with those pleading eyes. Sorry, Bella!  We HAD to do it!

Hello Gorgeous!

Meet Finley! I was able to photograph Finley for her 5 month photos this past weekend and I am in love with  her big brown eyes and her laid back personality!  We also got some shots of big brother Keenan who is an absolute sweetheart and tries to be so kind and gentle to his baby sister.  Also, he has the biggest blue eyes I have ever seen.  Oh and the cocoon shots of Finley on the antique chest are the reason I love doing this so much!  Thanks to Halie and Ben for welcoming me in your home and letting me capture these beautiful moments.

Cooper - 4 months.

I love my job!  I love babies!  I had the opportunity to shoot Cooper this past Saturday for his 4 month pictures and I am pretty sure I giggled like a crazy person the entire time.  Of course he was an absolute angel - even when we made him wear a goldfish costume and multiple hats!  But Cooper has the best expressions and the shoot went surprisingly fast. Thank you Meaghan for letting me capture your beautiful baby boy!
