Guitar Baby: Haverly! - Nashville, TN Child & Family Photographer

Meet future rock and roll star: Haverly! These photos are a surprise for Haverly's rock-n-rolling dad! I love being a part of a super fun surprise and I don't even need  an excuse to put an adorable baby in a guitar case!  So, when my friend Amanda told me about this - I was in. We originally thought we would have to do this inside because of the weather, but the day arrived and the weather was gorgeous and the barn was the perfect background. I love it when it all just comes together.  Amanda - I miss you and I hope your husband is as amazed by your detailed planning as I am ( a secret photo shoot is hard to pull off!) and  as  touched by your kind heart as he will be by these photos of your baby boy.

Molly & Jack - Nashville, TN Family & Child Photographer

These two were a dream! Jack is the happiest and smiliest 6 month old I have ever met. He didn't mind being plopped into baskets or wearing hats and Molly is girly and sweet and she loves a tutu. And you know how I feel about a girl in a tutu. Molly's mom had told me that Molly might be shy, but when she saw my trunk of girly stuff - we were instantly friends! Thanks to Michael and Jamie for spending a fun Sunday morning with me!

Baby Hayes - Just 7 days

I just don't have enough words to say how much I love these photos. As you can see, baby Hayes is pure perfection. He was oh so sleepy, not fussy at all, and has the most smushiest sweetest face - all my favorite qualities in an infant! I left their house knowing these images were amazing. Beyond. I was so right. Katherine and Robert - Congrats on the newest addition to your family, you have truly been blessed. I feel badly that we did not get the big sister/baby brother shot - but I promise we will next time. I will have  to come up with something McClean could not resist - like her own set of keys! The Isaacs Family

I love when I walk into a client's home and see my photo's framed in their house. So nice, and so is this family. We met up again for a family session and these little angel faced boys knocked it out of the park again. As soon as Katie sat Henry in the leaves, I knew it was going to be good. And it was. As soon as the camera was on him, lil Henry turned it on. And even Clay, who is not interested in the camera at all was absolutely charming. I am powerless over these boys sweet faces. And Katie and Scott - I really do mean that and I don't tell everyone that their kids are cute. I honestly can't explain why only beautiful families with gorgeous children hire me! Alden is 4 Months Old!

This sweet little pumpkin is 4 months old and was a dream to photograph. He smiled and laughed and was just an angel. This was a very early morning shoot and I def think that makes a difference. The baby was happy, his beautiful sister Hannah was so helpful and a complete doll, the light was absolutely gorgeous, and their house smelled like yummy breakfast!  See you again at 6 months!

Logan - 13 days old

Check out sweet little Logan! Only 13 days old and so, so sweet! This shoot is one of my favorites. I love when the parents give me the go ahead to do whatever I want, this is what happens, and of course you have to have a super cute baby like Logan! Some people may have thought it was odd to put your newborn baby in a platter on the dining room table - but I think the result is awesome and I would hang that photo right in there. The Duck Family - Nashville, TN Family & Child Photographer

When Katherine and I were discussing locations and props for the photo shoot, she casually mentioned that McLean was a girl on the go. And was she ever! This little pumpkin never stops moving, make that running. This session took place in 2 parts because it was hard to chase her for an hour! Just kidding, but we did meet a second time with the hopes that I could coax her into a tutu or a bucket - but she was not having it. That would slow her down too much! This shoot was so fun and McLean is absolutely adorable. I am in LOVE with their family photos. I am also jealous of how great Katherine looks pregnant. Mamie - 4 Months - Nashville, TN Child Photographer

This sweet little muffin is Mamie. I LOVE her name, and it fits her perfectly. I went to high school with her mommy, Maggie, who is just as beautiful as she was then, And Mamie is just as stunning. Maggie -it was so great to see you, catch up, and meet your precious daughter. I loved seeing your family and I love that your mom offered to make me an egg sandwich. Cayden - 6 Months

Today was a big day for Cayden! He turned 6 months old, had a photo shoot, and right after that he had to go to the doctor for his 6 month shots! He did great, and I was really glad he did not know what was coming after me! Happy 1/2 birthday! Can't wait to see you again in 3 months!

Cooper - 1 Year

Happy Birthday Cooper! This little guy just turned 1 , so we met up to capture his sweetness and also get some shots with his brother and sister! Nolan - 1 year

Happy 1st Birthday to sweet lil Nolan. This little guy is all boy and did not shed a tear during the shoot even when he fell down in the rocks! He was not sure about smiling for me at first, but mom and dad worked hard singing all his favorite songs and I think we captured the sweetest side of Nolan. Happy Bday Nolan. Clay (2 years) and Henry (6 months)

These precious boys completely stole my heart. Both were so sweet to me the whole time I poked a big black camera in their faces for an hour! As a mommy of two boys, I know how difficult it is to get a "brothers" shot, especially at this age! But I think we pulled it off! Gia - 9 days old

Get ready for the complete girly cuteness of 9 day old Gia. Her mom loves tutu's, big flower headbands and pink - so we hit it off right away! Her dad was the best photography assistant I have ever had - seriously, he just gets it! I am in love with these photos. Baby William - One Week

Meet baby William. He's only 7 days old and 6 pounds! Definitely my tiniest client! This shoot went so well and not just because William is a well behaved baby who slept for most of the shoot, but his parents are the greatest and their house was so well decorated - I had a lot to work with! I am in love with their family photo on the bed; they look like Babrbie, Ken and baby. Just perfection.
