Morgan + Anthony - Engagement
This was an amazing engagement shoot! I met Morgan and Anthony in East Nashville on a VERY hot day - but we had a great time despite the heat. Morgan had some great ideas and I am so happy with the way they turned out. Congratulations to Morgan and Anthony on your engagement![gallery columns="4" orderby="title"]

Lauren and Drew
Oh these precious ones made my day. These pictures are a fathers day present for their daddy who is currently serving our country and won't be home until August. Lauren is my dream come true - loves having her picture taken and she is a complete princess. I loved how I showed her how to point her toe and then she one upped me and did a curtsy! Drew is all boy, and could hardly sit still, but that's ok - I am used to the chase. I really think these images of his princess and his little army boy are going to make his Father's Day! Thanks Teonna for letting me capture them for your husband.[gallery columns="4" orderby="title"]

Tommy. Will. & Grace.

Get ready for some amazing photos - these are some gorgeous children! Suzy is a mother of three, and since she has two boys I felt instantly connected to her, and I couldn't wait to... get my hands on her beautiful 4.5 month old daughter, Gracie. Suzy picked this location in Thompsons Station, and it was PERFECT. It must be noted that the house and land in the background belongs to the Cyrus'. As in Miley. That made me really excited, I know I am a dork. I loved that Suzy was so laid back and even let me put her baby in a bucket in the middle of a train track! I am so excited to post these. Suzy, I hope this made a rough day better!

The Ruff Family
Pauly and I go waaaay back! One of the best things about my job is catching up with people and seeing where life has taken them. Paul has a beautiful and talented wife Tracey, and a funny and sweet son, Hunter. Paul is one of the best people I know, so it's great o see him so happy. We spent the late afternoon at the park, and while I was taking their photos, I felt like I was catching up on lost time. I really enjoyed photographing you all and hope we meet up again soon![gallery columns="4" orderby="title"]

Macey - 9 months
When I looked though my camera today, I was like WOW I forgot how amazing her big blue eyes were! Seriously, these sisters have some BLUE eyes. You may remember Macey from her 6 month shoot -to me 3 months seems to have just flown by, but we had a great time at Cheekwood today. I brought Griffin along to help with sister Maggie, and they got along great. More play dates in their future - these two really hit it off. It was great to see you today Sherry. I loved talking with you and it is truly awesome to see what an incredible mother you are. Thanks for choosing me.[gallery columns="4" orderby="title"]

The Nash Family
[gallery columns="4" orderby="title"]
This shoot did not start exactly the way we planned - but I am really happy with the way it turned out. I have not seen Hugh and Meghan in years and it was awesome meeting their two gorgeous girls, Reagan and McCarthy. Reagan is probably the most photogenic child I have ever met. Seriously look out for this one. And McCarthy was not sure about having a big camera in her face, but in the end she was giggling and blowing me kisses! Hugh and Meghan - I am really sorry our location got messed up, but I hope you love these - I do.

Meet Elizabeth and Matt. We had a great engagement shoot in downtown Franklin the other day. We just walked up and down the street looking for cool things...it was exactly what I LOVE to do. Thanks to you both for being up for everything I suggested. I think these images are amazing! Congratulations on your engagement E&M!

The Hart's
[gallery columns="4" orderby="title"]
Where do I start?! Shari and I have known each other since back in the day when we worked at Outback Steakhouse - a long, long time ago! She is one of the kindest and caring people I have ever known. She has not changed at all. Watching Shari interact with family from out of town, I know that she tried to make everything extra special for them. I hope they LOVE these images. I enjoyed being with you all.
Thanks for choosing me. Oh and Shari you look incredible!

Cooper - 8 months
I have to say that I think this shoot is incredible. Cooper is really easy to photograph when he is not spitting up on EVERYTHING! But seriously, he will wear anything and he doesn't fidget. LOVE the tie, even his mom and grandmother thought I was a lil crazy for putting a tie on an 8 month old! Hope you love them![gallery columns="4" orderby="title"]
Jack's 2nd Birthday Party
Today was a fantastic day. Jack turned T.W.O. and I was invited to capture it all. Jack stole my heart a couple months ago when I came to his house to take photos of him and his little brother, so I was so excited about his party! He has pretty awesome parents too. Thanks Shanna and Paul for thinking of me to capture this special day for you. I enjoyed every minute. And also, does Jack not have the cutest friends ever? The photos look like a Gap ad[gallery columns="4" orderby="title"]

The Hooie's
[gallery columns="4" orderby="title"]
Part of what I love so much about this job, is that I get to be around so many people head over heels in love. I LOVE it. And the Hooie's were no exception. He carried her purse the whole time. True love I tell ya!
I headed out to the Boro today on this absolutely perfect day. Colby had spotted the field of yellow flowers on the way to meet me, and I insisted they take me there. Pretty much made my dreams come true. I had a blast hanging out and getting to know ya'll. Thanks for choosing me to capture your sweet family!

The Dixon's
[gallery columns="4" orderby="title"]
The Dixon's completely rocked this shoot. When Jennifer booked this shoot and said I have a farm...I was totally in! The location was incredible, the kids were precious, and Jennifer and Chad were awesome. Cutie Molly Kate gave me the best hugs and Andrew was just not into having his photo taken - but we worked really hard and i think we pulled it off! Thanks again! It was so much fun!!!

Rachel + Hunter
[gallery columns="4" orderby="title"]
Hunter and I have known each other since grade school (GO CKS!) so it was really fun to catch up with him and his beautiful (and pregnant) wife, Rachel. This was a fun, laid back shoot and the weather was perfect. I insisted Rachel go barefoot, and walk thru tall grass, change outfits 4 or 5 times and get up and down and up and down - and she was AWESOME! Thanks to you both. More pics to come later tonight. Just wanted you to have a lil peek. And I CANNOT wait to meet your little guy in June for his newborn session!

The Fisher Family
Halie is one of my closest friends and I was so glad they let me capture their family photo. Such a sweet family and big brother Keenan kept me laughing the whole time. He was "cracking" the Easter eggs, picking up sticks and wearing my pink flower hat. Such a jokester! Hope you all enjoy!

Owen & Emma Claire
OMGoodness prepare yourself for this. This sweet little brother and sister came to my Easter mini session complete with light saber's. Well maybe not Emma Claire, she came with her monkey! But Owen was set on having some actio shots and I think we made it happen. Thanks to Melissa and Chris for working so hard. Super fun shoot!

ROCK THE DRESS - FREE SESSION EXTENDED THRU APRIL
Are you getting married this year, and wondering what to do with your dress afterwards? Perhaps you’ve already found the dress of your dreams and can’t wait to wear it on your big day? Or you were married years ago and are just dying to put it back on? I know I was more excited about my dress than anything else (except, perhaps, the actual ‘getting married’ bit!) but I felt some sadness, even before my wedding day, that I’d only get to wear this dress once. I loved it. I wanted to wear it ALL. THE. TIME. But, of course, you can’t.
Except that, now, more and more women are dressing up again, after their wedding day, to get some gorgeous photographs. Photographs that really show off the dress, show off the fun of wearing the dress. It’s not about setting fire to your dress, or covering it in paint (although I’m happy to do the latter) – it’s about treasuring your dress, without worrying about a little dust or dirt. So, if you’ve just bought your dress, it’s something to bear in mind for after your wedding day.
And, with that in mind, I’m running a special offer again through the month of April since I had such a HUGE response in MARCH! If you book me to be your wedding photographer in 2010 0r 2011, I will include a 2 hour Rock the Dress session at no additional cost. Yes – a FREE Rock the Dress session for all brides who book their wedding photography with me this month!
So, email me now at jocelynsmithphotography@gmail.com to book your wedding photography and **FREE** Rock the Dress session at the same time!

Ellen
[gallery columns="4" orderby="title"]
Oh this is adorable Ellen. She cried when she first saw me, and I got a little worried...but from the second I starting clicking away she posed like no baby I have ever seen. Her mommy says she is used to having her photo taken. OBVIOUSLY! These turned out great. Enjoy.

Pretty Piper
[gallery columns="4" orderby="title"]
This is sweet little Piper. She loved her monkey so much , she insisted he be in the family photo! Her mommy, Rebecca, said he was part of the family! Isn't Piper girly perfection, with her blonde curls, cherub cheeks and huge blue eyes? My favorite shot is her in her rocking chair - the chair was Rebecca's when she was a child. So sweet.

The Harris Sisters
These sweet sisters just melted my heart. They were troopers wearing flowers hats and lil sis Sydnee even let me put her in a basket with bunny ears! I had so much fun with you girls and I hope to see you again soon! Thanks to mom and dad for all their help with the models! XO - Jocelyn
